philip george davies was born in nantwich cheshire he had a happy childhood living in the crofts of nantwich, he attended nantwich church school before being consripted in 1952 in 1955 he met his wife brenda in birmingham they married in birmingham they were married58 years before brenda died in 2013  brenda and philip had three children and then five grandchildren as well as a sister sue and her family in western Australia.  Philip worked all of his life he was long distant lorry driver in england and international. He was also in the marines for few years.  He had many happy times away with his family in Devon, Brean and weston-super-mare. Philip loved reading books and watching country and western and he loved sports such as football and cricket.
